The High-Performance Honda RC213V-S
The Honda RC213V-S is a racing motorcycle that has been designed and developed for road use, based on the RC213V. It was designed to offer riders a true racing experience, with a high-performance engine, aerodynamic bodywork, and advanced technology.
The engine is the heart of any motorcycle, and the RC213V-S is powered by a 999cc liquid-cooled four-stroke V4 engine that produces around 159 bhp (with an optional 215bhp sports kit available). This engine is capable of delivering exceptional power and torque, making it the perfect choice for riders who demand the best.
The RC213V-S features an advanced electronics package that includes a ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, and engine brake control. This advanced electronics package provides riders with complete control over the motorcycle, and helps to ensure that it can be ridden safely and confidently.
In addition to its high-performance engine, the RC213V-S features an aerodynamic bodywork that helps to reduce wind resistance and improve stability. The RC213V-S also features advanced suspension components, including an Ohlins TTX36 rear shock and telescopic Ohlins TTX25 front suspension. These components work together to deliver exceptional handling and stability, making the RC213V-S an ideal choice for riders who want to experience the thrill of the race track.
Other key features of the RC213V-S include a quick-shifter, which allows riders to change gears without having to use the clutch, and a slipper clutch, which helps to prevent wheel hop under hard acceleration. The RC213V-S also features Brembo brakes, which provide exceptional stopping power.
The initial plan was to manufacture 250 of these exceptional machines, but less than 200 were actually made.
Expertly Crating the Honda RC213V-S for Export
When our customer, Frankie, contacted us initially, it was on a recommendation from a friend of his who had already used our services to crate and ship a motorcycle from the UK to Hong Kong for him. We were only too pleased to be of assistance, and to use our expertise to ensure that Frankie’s new motorcycle made it to Hong Kong in the same condition as it left us in the UK.
The previous owner of the Honda RC213V-S delivered it to us himself, and said his goodbyes entrusting us to look after the bike on behalf of Frankie. At Autoshippers we pride ourselves in the quality of our motorbike crating, and you can see more details of how we securely pack motorbikes for shipping overseas, in bespoke, made to measure crates.
We also have videos of some of our work on our YouTube channel, and this includes the crating of this Honda RC213V-S. We have included a link to this crating video below, so that you can see how we do it.
Shipping the RC213V-S to Hong Kong
Once we have safely packed a motorbike into its own, made to measure, shipping crate we can then arrange the shipping to whichever destination our customer requires. We use commercial consolidators, who load shipping containers, usually on a weekly basis, filled with LCL (less than a container load) cargo for manufacturers and shippers across the UK.
This means that we can use commercial shipping lines, and they have regular scheduled departures from the UK to all of the major shipping destinations, including the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Dubai and, as in this case, Hong Kong.
Along with the crate containing the Honda RC213V-S, we also were able to ship the original, aluminium shipping crate and a crate holding a performance kit and other accessories, so that all of the items were on the same sailing and all arrived at the same time.
Excitingly for us, Frankie was so pleased with how this motorcycle was protected in transit, that he sent us the below photographs showing him unpacking once we had delivered in Hong Kong. As you can see, we had been able to ensure that he received his new bike in pristine condition, just as it had been handed over to us.
