Video Description

At AutoShippers, we recently shipped an Avant 220 Mini Tractor from Bedford to Nelson, New Zealand, demonstrating the care and precision that goes into every shipment we handle. The Avant 220, a compact and versatile machine widely used for landscaping, construction, and agricultural work, was securely packed in a bespoke wooden crate and shipped via LCL (Less than Container Load) for a cost-effective and safe solution.

Collected from Bedford on an open trailer, the tractor was transported to our warehouse, where it was carefully prepared for its journey. It was driven onto a reinforced machine base, chocked in place with wooden blocks that were screwed down to prevent any movement. Heavy-duty straps were then used for additional security. Once the base was secure, wooden sides and a top were added and firmly screwed into place, creating a solid crate designed to withstand the rigours of international shipping. The completed crate was labelled and sealed with a numbered security tag fastened to banding around the crate for added peace of mind.

With no V5 registration available for the tractor, proof of ownership was provided through a Bill of Sale, ensuring all paperwork was in order for export. The crated tractor was then loaded onto the vessel Polar Mexico, departing London Gateway Port on 24th November and arriving safely at Lyttelton Port, New Zealand, on 10th January.
